July 20, 2007 Summer is Flying out the Frying Pan

Man I been so busy I'm Only doing couple hours a day at the library been working helping a business owner open a new lot next to the fairgrounds here in Helena. He rolled up on me over a month ago in front of Home Depot with my sign WORK NEEDED NO HANDOUTS and been kinda working for him since cause he lets me work whatever and as many hours as I want, it's just awful hot out and I aint got no family to feed and I aint real hungray after working in a half a dozen restaurants.

Haven't been in my tent in at least ten days; stretched out under the Big Sky. Helping a business owner open a small car lot right next to the helena Fair grounds on Custer. We will knock off about 1-2 if it is to hot to work and I head straight for Spring Meadow Lake a mile away to saok in the cleranest water I ever been in. I swim for 45 minutes and won't have to find a place to shower tonight. Got a nearly new super ;ight Fuji M-100 Mountain Bike the day after I found all new camping gear so I am ready for my yearly bike pilmgrimage to Missoula then the Gold Route (Bannack, Dillion, etc.) I need about 10 days on that bike of 12 hour days of peddeling and camped out under the stars at night, all the body melting away...besides the health benifits it makes you a very good bike rider as well!
Gotta go to work for a few hours ....stay posted

Two days till'n and planting flowers for some rich doctor's wife on Lake Houser, about ten miles out of town. 120$ in two days I'll take a week off!! She seen me on her twice daily run to Home d4epot with my sign Work Needed No Handouts, takes a little balls but it work's like a charm, Just road my mountain bike up to grizzly Gulch Lime Kilns and made it back in time to get a few hours in on my blogs and email. I;m hopein my daughter in New Orleans will have sence enough to Google my name and find me if she wants; her mother brainwashed her i think....I'm gonna go track her down 'for long....got a son in upstate new york with the exact same name...might here from him too I hope; you know how being a parent is you just do your best and hope for the best..I hope you have a nice weekend the weather should be nice, here in Helena Montana is superb for what I'm doing up here, fish'n, ride'n my bike and camping in the Helena National Forrest as I do and have for the last four years, I go to sleep when it gets dark and I get up when the sun comes up and it just feels right, been doing it so long now I don't want to be inside at night and probably never did. everyone loves camping right? Most people love the idea of it more than the actually doing it...sure saves moneyJust climbed two major mountains this morning on my bike and my legs are still hummin still!!I'm posting this on my web blog seperately, so anyone who cares knows what I'll be doing this weekend. How 'bout you?Anyone else having more fun than me.....I didnt think so!!what the hell am I doing this week end, oh I remember; whatever in the hell I want too...probably ride out to Lake Hauser and make another $50-60 playing in the dirt looking out on the beautiful lake, and if not, really need about a 50 mile tune-up down to Butte over the Great Divide on my mountain/road bike in the blazing sun starrring at mountains and granite (coming north out of Butte), then forrest and streams then fields of alfalfa; which I have personnaly rolled out into after a 16 mile non stop ride and laid in fields with soft winds and beuatiful Montana skies...cars balzing by 100 feet away looking at you in with a longing in their eyes to be free of plastic and metal and gasoline and responsibilities and soon forget they ever saw me...back to denial and drudgery from where I'm laying!! Ha, Ha! You gottsa love it!So what's happening in your world?

Montana Bound

Hell, I was waiting to hear from you. Everything same here....told my boss and landlord I was leaving next weekend so its set in stone short of severe weather...Gonna take the local bus as far west up the beach as it goes at Long Beach Miss, where I will continue the last ten miles of a 26 mile hike up the beach from Ocean Springs to Bay St Louis white sandy made made beach with what used to be antebellum homes where I now camp on their fron yard at will... the sun is brutal in the day time and you cant sleep right on the beach ceacuse of the sand mites but since the hurricane the water is pristine clean the only down side is that the water is so shallow you have to walk ut a half mile to get waist deep.. As pretty in the daylight as the night....espeially when the weather is nice which is most of the time...very little open so I have to pack my own water...There is a big Hydropland SMOKING THE SOUND happening there this weekend sponsored by the Biloxi Hard Rock Cafe about five miles from here.
That will be a 3-4 day hike then I'm hitting the interstae to I-20 in Jackson MS to Albuquerque and may start heading north there

Never been any good at such but willing to give it a try...84 days to I get to leave for home in Helena, Montana

brought me to his home to help his wife with paralegal assistance with 4 pending litigations and gave me the back bedroom with direct tv and internet: I was sleeping in a one man tent the night before....the suns coming out so I can take the 323 ic 2000 BMW to the mall on the beach
i know I could be back in that one man tent in 15 minutes when shit turns south so I'm gratefull in prayer and spirit for one more day
